Makes me proud...

The Right Wing News, funny because most news is already right leaning, has published a list of 'The 40 Most Obnoxious Quotes of 2004.' As you can guess, the intention is to show that progressives, liberals and Democrats are stupid. However, when I read the list I feel proud. The list starts with the Howard Dean rant, contains a couple of Al Gore quips for 'laughs,' has the requisite liberal celeb quotes to show that Hollywood is bad BAD, a self- deprecating quip from Dick Cheney to Patrick Leahy 'Go F*ck yourself,' several quotes from Journalists to show that the 'liberal media' has it out for Conservatives and many Moore, Michael Moore, that is, who tops the list with this gem

The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win.

Reading all of these quotes reaffirms my faith in my politics and my peers. And, shooting for the 2005 list, the Boston Tea Party was a terrorist act.
